01. Lush Lawn Setting in Kupondole
Surrounded by ancient greenery in the heart of Lalitpur, Hotel Himalaya's sprawling private lawns provided the ideal peaceful open-air sanctuary for a grand traditional morning ceremony. The natural landscape allowed us to build an unobstructed 360-degree ceremonial focal point visible to all 700 invited family and guests.
02. Temple-Inspired Saffron Mandap & Sacred Floristry
The centerpiece was a custom octagonal Vedic mandap wrapped in rich saffron drapes and adorned with over 10,000 strings of fragrant marigolds, imported orange roses, and handcrafted temple brass bells. Four monumental carved pillars flanked the sacred fire (havan kund), engineered to ensure safety while creating a mesmerizing, photogenic focal point for the couple's sacred vows.
03. Auspicious Ceremonials & Traditional Feast
Accompanied by traditional Shehnai and Mangal Dhun melodies, the sacred pheras concluded under a gentle shower of saffron rose petals, leading into a celebratory garden brunch across the lawns. The shaded cabana lounges and bespoke brass tableware complemented the spiritual warmth of the morning.
